John Vassiliades Transports Ltd was founded in June 1978, by Mr. John Vassiliades in co-operation with Mr. Josef Meyer of International Road Transports Josef Meyer of W. Germany.

In December 1989, after the merger of the companies of Josef Meyer and Adolf Meyer, the revived company was named Adolf Meyer & Josef Meyer Internationale Spediteure.

The successful co-operation proved the great potential of the Cyprus Market as a carrier destination as well as the high professionalism of John Vassiliades and his associates. John Vassiliades Transports Ltd. being Customs Clearing Agents offered as additional advantage to the clients by undertaking all Customs clearance procedures for imports and exports.

In 2001 John Vassiliades Transports Ltd established a partnership with the company SR-Spedition Thomas Hauss eK in Dachau, Germany.

Today after 33 years of successful operations, the Company is considered to be the biggest International Road Transport Company on the island of Cyprus, which transports goods from Germany to Cyprus and enjoys the confidence and respect of the islands business environment.
